Introduction

Established in 1994, Consumer and Public Interest Network has dedicated nearly 30 years representing consumers, safeguarding their fundamental rights and improving unfair market conditions; advocating for the voice of consumers across various industries and actively engaging in activities to empower consumers.

Seoul Consumer and Public Interest Network, a non-profit organization under the Consumer Interest Network, was established by a consortium of experts to identify and address issues closely related to everyday individuals. These issues can include food, insurance, finance, housing, and occupation, through online channels to align with the rapidly evolving digital era. The Consumer Network for Public Interest Seoul Branch is supported by various organizations and associations including the Alliance for Trade Integrity (ATI).

 Mission

By actively gathering diverse opinions through the website and social media, to disseminate accurate and valuable information widely to contribute to the positive transformation in society.

Additionally, in accordance with Article 28 of Chapter 5 of the Consumer Basic Act (Duties of Consumer Organizations), not only providing consumer education, information, and free counseling to allow consumers to voice their concerns about an unfair society and environment but also strive to identify consumer-centric policies. With these policies, demand their implementation from the government, convey opinions to the National Assembly, and foster collaborations.
